Register of appeals
Decisions on Transport appeals are not published online, as the website does not currently support that functionality. SCTS is currently exploring options to expand the functionality of the website. However, the Chamber President has instructed that a Key Decision allowing an appeal in respect of a Penalty Charge Notice issued by Glasgow City Council in respect of its Low Emission Zone should be published on the Transport Appeals webpage as it has a fundamental bearing on the enforceability of penalty charge notices that have been sent to recipients by ordinary prepaid postage. A copy of the decision can be found below. Glasgow City Council have appealed the Key Decision to the Upper Tribunal.
A register of appeals is kept by the First-tier Tribunal and is open for inspection during reasonable hours by any person without charge.
